PURE SPORTS NUTRITION ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION

PURE SPORTS NUTRITION ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION

What is it?  PURE SPORTS NUTRITION was started by brother and sister duo Simon and Marewa Kraak, who have a passion for healthy living and sports. Simon tries his best Cycling, however Marewa is a qualified Sports & Exercise Nutritionist (Otago University), former elite road cyclist, serial over achiever, possible candidate for NZ Prime Minister and representative rower for New Zealand. Their whole range revolves around quality ingredients with no added artificials or nasties. Of the 70 products in the current range, the LOW CARB ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION is the biggest seller as it is a great way to insure optimal electrolyte balance and muscle hydration during exercise.

Who Should take it? The biggest users of the ELECTRLYTE HYDRATION formula are cyclists, triathletes and runners, though in this scribe’s humble opinion, Everybody who exercises will benefit from exercising while fully hydrated. The NZ Hurricanes rugby team are using ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION to maximise on field performance, and I feel there will be many more team sport and regular gym enthusiasts who will benefit from this product.

For those exercising or working in warmer climates and those who suffer from cramping, the addition of this quality Electrolyte blend will be of great benefit. Having no artificial flavours and Sweeteners is also a big bonus

What does it do? PURE ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION is designed to balance your 4 key Electrolytes to maintain optimal performance through full hydration.

·       Flavoured with real freeze-dried fruit powders and juices on a coconut water base

·       Provide ALL 4 of the main Electrolytes which will aid Performance, Hydration and energy levels. A lot of formulas don’t include Magnesium and Calcium to save on costs

·       Great for recovery between exercise session as hydrated muscles repair at their optimal rate.

How do I take it? 2 scoops, 8 grams PURE ELECTROLYTE HYDRATION mixed with 1000ml water. During intense exercise you will need to consume between 500ml to 750ml per hour. The manufacturer cautions against drinking more than 3 serves per day (3 litres when mixed to directions).
