Lauren's High Protein Apple and Banana Muffins
This tasty little muffin recipe is low in fat but high on taste. A great snack for morning tea.
Lauren just competed successfully in her first figure competition. These high protein muffins have been a great addition to her reverse dieting nutrition plan. With healthy , tasty options to choose from, sticking to your nutrition plan becomes a lot easier.
1 Golden delicious apple
|2 Scoops rolled Oats|
|2 scoops Proflex Vanilla protein powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tbsp Equal sweetener
½ teaspoon baking soda
4 egg whites
1 pinch of salt
|· Mix dry ingredients and diced fruit in a bowl together
· Add egg whites and some water as needed
· Stir until mixed well. Scoop into a muffin pan lightly coated with cooking spray.
· Bake at 175 degrees for about 15 -20 minutes
