This recipe has been kindly provided by our good friend Stacey Aldous at Freedom Health and Wellness, New Norfolk.
INGREDIENTS:
- 265g dates
- 2/3 cup water
- 65g LSA (linseed – sunflower seed – almonds)
- 3.5 scoops Bulk Nutrients Protein Matrix (Vanilla or Vanilla Maple)
- 65g desiccated coconut
- 30g cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons tahini
DIRECTIONS:
- Boil dates in water until they are soft and water has evaporated.
- In a food processor mix dates with LSA, protein powder, 1/2 the coconut, cocoa and tahini in a food processor.
- Divide into walnut-sized balls and roll in remaining coconut.
- Store in an air tight container in the fridge.
