Protein Balls

 This recipe has been kindly provided by our good friend Stacey Aldous at Freedom Health and Wellness, New Norfolk.  

 

INGREDIENTS:    

  • 265g dates  
  • 2/3 cup water  
  • 65g LSA (linseed – sunflower seed – almonds)  
  • 65g desiccated coconut  
  • 30g cocoa powder  
  • 2 teaspoons tahini  

 

DIRECTIONS:  

  • Boil dates in water until they are soft and water has evaporated.
  • In a food processor mix dates with LSA, protein powder, 1/2 the coconut, cocoa and tahini in a food processor.
  • Divide into walnut-sized balls and roll in remaining coconut.
  • Store in an air tight container in the fridge.
